Past Cincinnati/NKY Events 2010 Brunch and Gangsters:
On May 15, Centre alumni, parents and friends gathered for a spectacular Saturday brunch at Newport, KY favorite Mokka Sunset Bar and Grill. The meal was followed by a walking tour of some of Newport's gangster hotspots of the 1930's - this was not your average history lesson!
2009 Grailville Spring Concert:
On April 26, 2009 the student group, Kentucky Ensemble, led by Professor Nathan Link, performed at Grailville Retreat Center in Loveland, OH. The event was attended by over 30 Centre College alumni, parents and friends and the students were overjoyed to have such a captivated audience. (Click here to see photos from this event.)
2008 Cincinnati Reds Family Night:
On August 7th, Centre College hosted a special evening at Great American Ballpark. The Cincinnati Reds took on the Houston Astros for a night filled with fun, food and lots of friends. The party was hosted on the Riverboat Deck behind center field and over 40 alumni and their families. Although the Redlegs didn't bring home a win that night - the evening was ranked a success in our books. (Click here to see photos from this event.)
2007 Cincinnati Reds Family Night:
Centre College alumni, parents and friends were invited to enjoy a night at Great American Ballpark with the Cincinnati Redlegs taking on the Houston Astros on Thursday, September 27th. The group gathered under the "big red tent" beside right field for a buffet dinner, drinks and dessert and folks were nvited to take their seats on the first baseline as the Redlegs battled it out with the Astros. Despite Cincinnati's best effort, Houston won 4-3.
