Richard Trollinger Vice President for College Relations
Richard Trollinger, who joined Centre in 1994, has more than thirty years of experience in college advancement work. He holds a M.Ed. degree from Vanderbilt University in higher education administration and an M.A. degree from Indiana University in philanthropic studies, and a Ph D. in educational policy studies. Clarence R. Wyatt ’78 Pottinger Professor of History, Special Assistant to the President, and Chief Planning Officer
Clarence Wyatt holds a dual appointment on the college staff as a development consultant and has been associated with Centre's development office in various capacities since 1979. A history professor, he has led two winter term student trips to Vietnam. During the 2000 Vice Presidential Debate held at Centre, he served as a political expert on WTVQ, Channel 36 in Lexington. Bill Breeze ’45 Special Assistant to the President for Endowment
After spending 38 years with the Ohio National Life Insurance Company in Cincinnati, Bill came to Centre as Vice President and General Secretary in 1987. He has served Centre as alumnus, president of the Alumni Association, trustee, parent (Nancy Breeze ’76), and employee. Bill was Acting President for six months in 1988-1989. Jamey Leahey ’92 Associate Vice President of Legal Affairs and Gift Planning
Along with Bill Breeze, Jamey works with donors and their advisors to design deferred and estate gifts that best suit their personal and financial goals. Prior to Centre, Jamey served as a general business and litigation attorney with a law firm in Owensboro, Kentucky, having earned his law degree from Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington in 1995. Victoria Walker Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations
Florida State University graduate Victoria Walker has developed grant proposals at Centre since 1989. Walker previously worked in publications and development at Duke University, University of Denver, Transylvania University, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Kathryn Bowles Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations
Kathryn is a native of Bluefield, WV, but has lived in central Kentucky for over 10 years. She earned two degrees in sociology, a BA from Berea College and an MA from the University of Kentucky. Her previous employment history includes working with a college consortium to manage student scholarship and faculty fellowship programs. Her responsibilities at Centre include aiding the development staff to expand the corporate and foundation funding base, and assisting faculty to identify, and prepare proposals to, external funding sources in support of their research interests. Shawn Lyons ’81 Associate Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs
Shawn graduated from Centre in 1981 with a B.S. in Biology and a Kentucky Secondary Teaching Certificate. He joined the College's Admission staff immediately after graduation. He served in several administrative positions over the next decade, including Director of Development from 1985-1990. Shawn returned to Centre in his present position in September 2001. In the interim, he served as the chief development officer at Washington College (MD) and the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence and as President of the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation. Shawn is married to the former Amy Hynden '83 and they have 4 children. Doug Draut Director of Leadership Gifts
Doug Draut earned his B.A. degree from Eastern Kentucky University and his M.A. from Webster University in St. Louis. He has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales, and development. He is a native Kentuckian and joined the Centre staff in 2005, with a focus on leadership and major giving. His family consists of his wife Maureen (Illinois State University), two daughters (Alexis and Hannah), and dog Shadow, his only son. Mary Beth Turner Neiser ’98 Director of Leadership Gifts and The Parent Fund
Mary Beth graduated from Centre in 1998. A history major, she returned to her alma mater in 2006 as Director of Annual Giving. In 2009, Mary Beth accepted a new position at the College as Director of Leadership Gifts and the Parent Fund. Before returning to Centre, Mary Beth worked in fundraising and development at the University of Rochester, where her husband, Jason Neiser '99, completed his Ph D. Jason is now a professor of physics at Centre. Jason, Mary Beth, and their daughter, Kara, live in Danville.

James Barnard Assistant Director of Annual GivingJames grew up in England and moved to Kentucky in October 2008. James attended Lancaster University in the North West of England, where he was a student caller on the Phonathon team and worked in the Residence Life Office after graduation. It was at Lancaster that he met his future wife, Allison, a Transylvania student studying abroad. They married in 2008 and live with their dog, Griffyn, in Lexington. James’ primary responsibilities include coordinating the annual phonathon, overseeing the senior class gift campaign, and assisting with the day to day operations of the annual fund. Whenever they can, James and his wife like to return to England to visit family and friends.

Mary Kay Godbey Manager of Advancement Information Systems
Mary Kay began working at Centre in 1992. In charge of the database that keeps the Development office running, Mary Kay manages geographic reports, mailing data, and the annual fund summaries. She is also one of the driving forces behind the annual Donor Report. In her free time, Mary Kay enjoys going to the lake, her two dogs, and arguing with the vast number of Duke fans in the office about UK basketball.

Lori Burke Assistant Manager, Alumni/Development Information Systems
Boyle County native Lori began working at Centre in 1997. She helped transition Centre’s development office to Millennium software in 1999, and she has attended classes to implement the new software. Alumni contact Lori to change their addresses and to obtain alumni lists.

Jeanine Sanders Administrative Assistant, Alumni House
Jeanine Sanders began working at Centre in 1996. Alumni and friends hear her friendly voice when calling the Alumni House. Centre Alumni call her to obtain updated alumni address information, and she also distributes event information. Jeanine also handles Alumni Association merchandising.

Jacky Thomas '02 Director of Alumni Affairs
Jacky graduated from Centre in 2002 with a B.A. in English and history, and she completed her master’s degree in higher education administration at the University of Kentucky in 2008. Jacky’s primary responsibilities include planning Homecoming and annual alumni events, as well as serving as the chief staff member for the Alumni Association Board of Directors. Jacky is also currently serving as Planning Associate, helping to direct the College’s strategic planning efforts. Megan Haake ’03 Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs
Megan, a native of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, graduated from Centre in 2003 with a B.A. in Anthropology and a History minor. Megan's primary responsibilities include coordinating the national alumni club chapters as well as managing the CentreLink website. In addition to her main responsibilities, Megan assists the Director of Alumni Affairs with the planning of Homecoming and other alumni events. Prior to her return to Centre, Megan worked for more than three years as the marketing coordinator for a commercial real estate firm in Greater Cincinnati where she was responsible for corporate event planning and public relations. Megan currently resides in Danville, Kentucky.
