Shawn Lyons ’81
Associate Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs
Shawn graduated from Centre in 1981 with a B.S. in Biology and a Kentucky Secondary Teaching Certificate. He joined the College's Admission staff immediately after graduation. He served in several administrative positions over the next decade, including Director of Development from 1985-1990. Shawn returned to Centre in his present position in September 2001. In the interim, he served as the chief development officer at Washington College (MD) and the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence and as President of the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation. Shawn is married to the former Amy Hynden '83 and they have 4 children. When he's not asking for gifts to Centre, he can usually be found at hockey, soccer, basketball or quick recall practices and games.

Doug Draut
Director of Leadership Gifts
Doug Draut earned his B.A. degree from Eastern Kentucky University and his M.A. from Webster University in St. Louis. He has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales, and development. He is a native Kentuckian and joined the Centre staff in 2005, with a focus on leadership and major giving. His family consists of his wife Maureen (Illinois State University), two daughters (Alexis and Hannah), and dog Shadow, his only son. Doug enjoys spending time with his family, being involved at church, volunteering, and baseball.

Caty Mercer McCormick '02
Director of Leadership Gifts
Caty graduated from Centre in 2002 with a B.A. in Government. She then earned her master's degree in Political Science from the University of Louisville. She is currently working toward her PhD at the University of Louisville. Prior to taking the position with Centre she worked as a Project Manager, Client Manager and Consultant in the healthcare field. When Caty is not chasing after her active 2 year old son, she enjoys playing with her dog, spending time with her family and friends and travelling.

Jacky Thomas Seaver '02
Director of Annual Giving
Jacky graduated from Centre in 2002 with a B.A. in English and history, and she completed her master’s degree in higher education administration at the University of Kentucky in 2008. Prior to accepting the position of Director of Annual Giving in September 2009, Jacky served as the Director of Alumni Affairs for six years. She also helped to direct the College’s strategic planning efforts as Planning Associate. Before returning to Centre in 2003, Jacky served as the Associate Director of the Perryville Battlefield Preservation Association. Jacky and her husband, Rob, live in Danville.

Krista Rinehart '99
Assistant Director of Annual Giving
Krista graduated from Centre in 1999 with a B.A. in history. She went on to complete a Masters of Public Administration at the University of Kentucky’s Martin School in 2005. Prior to returning to Centre, Krista spent eight years with The Council of State Governments in Lexington, Ky. As the National Leadership Center Coordinator at CSG, Krista managed a nationally renowned leadership development program for state government officials, the Toll Fellowship Program. Krista and her husband, Adam Johnson ’97 live in Danville with their five year old daughter, Campbell. In her spare time Krista serves as the assistant track and field coach at Boyle County High School and enjoys reading, running and traveling.

Molly Jernigan '10
Development Fellow
Molly is a native of Clinton, TN and graduated from Centre in 2010 with a B.S. in Biology. She has been in the Development Office since the summer of 2011. Between graduation and returning to Centre, Molly lived in Clinton and worked at a vet clinic in Knoxville. On top of work, she is also currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health. In her spare time, Molly enjoys cooking, running, and playing with her dog, Stella.

Vickie Glidewell
Assistant to the Director of Annual Giving
A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Vickie began working at Centre in 1997. She worked as Division III secretary and as communications assistant before joining the development staff in 2001.

Mary Kay Godbey
Manager of Advancement Information Systems
Mary Kay began working at Centre in 1992. In charge of the database that keeps the Development office running, Mary Kay manages geographic reports, mailing data, and the annual fund summaries. She is also one of the driving forces behind the annual Donor Report. In her free time, Mary Kay enjoys going to the lake, her two dogs, and arguing with the vast number of Duke fans in the office about UK basketball.

Lori Burke
Assistant Manager, Alumni/Development Information Systems
Boyle County native Lori began working at Centre in 1997. She helped transition Centre’s development office to Millennium software in 1999, and she has attended classes to implement the new software. Alumni contact Lori to change their addresses and to obtain alumni lists.
