    College Relations

    Richard Trollinger
    Vice President for College Relations

    Richard Trollinger, who joined Centre in 1994, has more than thirty years of experience in college advancement work. He holds a M.Ed. degree from Vanderbilt University in higher education administration and an M.A. degree from Indiana University in philanthropic studies, and a Ph D. in educational policy studies. He and his wife, Patsi, have twin daughters, Mary and Elizabeth.

    Clarence R. Wyatt ’78
    Pottinger Professor of History, Special Assistant to the President, and Chief Planning Officer

    Clarence Wyatt holds a dual appointment on the college staff as a development consultant and has been associated with Centre's development office in various capacities since 1979. A history professor, he has led two winter term student trips to Vietnam. During the 2000 Vice Presidential Debate held at Centre, he served as a political expert on WTVQ, Channel 36 in Lexington. He received his masters and doctoral degrees in history from the University of Kentucky. Clarence and his wife, Lobie Stone '70, live in Danville.

      Bill Breeze ’45
    Special Assistant to the President for Endowment

    After spending 38 years with the Ohio National Life Insurance Company in Cincinnati, Bill came to Centre as Vice President and General Secretary in 1987. He has served Centre as alumnus, president of the Alumni Association, trustee, parent (Nancy Breeze ’76), and employee. Bill was Acting President for six months in 1988-1989. He currently serves as a liaison to older alumni, assisting with planned giving.

      Jamey Leahey ’92
    Associate Vice President of Legal Affairs and Gift Planning

    Along with Bill Breeze, Jamey works with donors and their advisors to design deferred and estate gifts that best suit their personal and financial goals. Prior to Centre, Jamey served as a general business and litigation attorney with a law firm in Owensboro, Kentucky, having earned his law degree from Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington in 1995. He and his wife, Beth Braswell Leahey ’92, have two children.

    Elizabeth Graves
    Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations

    Elizabeth works with Centre leadership to secure grants that help the college achieve its goals in curriculum development, capital improvements, endowed scholarships and other strategic areas. Prior to coming to Centre, Elizabeth worked at Mountain Association for Community Economic Development in Berea as a project manager and at Alltech in Nicholasville and in Ireland and Asia in marketing. Elizabeth received her M.B.A. from the University of Kentucky in 2001 and her B.A. in history from Princeton University in 1993. She is married and has one son. In her free time, Elizabeth loves to be outdoors, visit museums, enjoy a laugh with friends, or read a good book.

      Kathryn Bowles
    Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations

    Kathryn is a native of Bluefield, WV, but has lived in central Kentucky for over 10 years.  She earned two degrees in sociology, a BA from Berea College and an MA from the University of Kentucky.  Her previous employment history includes working with a college consortium to manage student scholarship and faculty fellowship programs.  Her responsibilities at Centre include aiding the development staff to expand the corporate and foundation funding base, and assisting faculty to identify, and prepare proposals to, external funding sources in support of their research interests.

      Traci Wilson
    Executive Secretary, Office of College Relations

    Traci began working at Centre in the Office of College Relations in 2001. She and her husband, Tony, have two children. In her spare time, Traci enjoys reading a good book and writing short stories.

      Shawn Lyons ’81
    Associate Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs

    Shawn graduated from Centre in 1981 with a B.S. in Biology and a Kentucky Secondary Teaching Certificate. He joined the College's Admission staff immediately after graduation. He served in several administrative positions over the next decade, including Director of Development from 1985-1990. Shawn returned to Centre in his present position in September 2001. In the interim, he served as the chief development officer at Washington College (MD) and the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence and as President of the Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation. Shawn is married to the former Amy Hynden '83 and they have 4 children. When he's not asking for gifts to Centre, he can usually be found at hockey, soccer, basketball or quick recall practices and games.

    Doug Draut
    Director of Leadership Gifts

    Doug Draut earned his B.A. degree from Eastern Kentucky University and his M.A. from Webster University in St. Louis. He has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales, and development. He is a native Kentuckian and joined the Centre staff in 2005, with a focus on leadership and major giving. His family consists of his wife Maureen (Illinois State University), two daughters (Alexis and Hannah), and dog Shadow, his only son. Doug enjoys spending time with his family, being involved at church, volunteering, and baseball.

    Caty Mercer McCormick '02
    Director of Leadership Gifts

    Caty graduated from Centre in 2002 with a B.A. in Government. She then earned her master's degree in Political Science from the University of Louisville. She is currently working toward her PhD at the University of Louisville. Prior to taking the position with Centre she worked as a Project Manager, Client Manager and Consultant in the healthcare field. When Caty is not chasing after her active 2 year old son, she enjoys playing with her dog, spending time with her family and friends and travelling.

    Jacky Thomas Seaver '02
    Director of Annual Giving

    Jacky graduated from Centre in 2002 with a B.A. in English and history, and she completed her master’s degree in higher education administration at the University of Kentucky in 2008.  Prior to accepting the position of Director of Annual Giving in September 2009, Jacky served as the Director of Alumni Affairs for six years.  She also helped to direct the College’s strategic planning efforts as Planning Associate.  Before returning to Centre in 2003, Jacky served as the Associate Director of the Perryville Battlefield Preservation Association.  Jacky and her husband, Rob, live in Danville.

    Krista Rinehart '99
    Assistant Director of Annual Giving

    Krista graduated from Centre in 1999 with a B.A. in history.  She went on to complete a Masters of Public Administration at the University of Kentucky’s Martin School in 2005. Prior to returning to Centre, Krista spent eight years with The Council of State Governments in Lexington, Ky.  As the National Leadership Center Coordinator at CSG, Krista managed a nationally renowned leadership development program for state government officials, the Toll Fellowship Program.  Krista and her husband, Adam Johnson ’97 live in Danville with their five year old daughter, Campbell.  In her spare time Krista serves as the assistant track and field coach at Boyle County High School and enjoys reading, running and traveling.

    Morgan Terry '13
    Development Fellow

    Morgan, a Nashville native, graduated from Centre in 2013 with a BA in Economics. He joined the Development Office after graduating and is mainly responsible for managing Centre’s Phonathon and advising the Student Advancement Board. Morgan also serves on the Alumni Advisory Board for the Iota Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon, a chapter he helped recolonize as a student. In his free time Morgan can be found playing his guitar or ukulele, telling slightly exaggerated stories, or loudly cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers even though it will probably be another disappointing season.

    Vickie Glidewell
    Assistant to the Director of Annual Giving

    A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Vickie began working at Centre in 1997. She worked as Division III secretary and as communications assistant before joining the development staff in 2001.

    Mary Kay Godbey
    Manager of Advancement Information Systems

    Mary Kay began working at Centre in 1992. In charge of the database that keeps the Development office running, Mary Kay manages geographic reports, mailing data, and the annual fund summaries. She is also one of the driving forces behind the annual Donor Report. In her free time, Mary Kay enjoys going to the lake, her two dogs, and arguing with the vast number of Duke fans in the office about UK basketball.

    Lori Burke
    Assistant Manager, Alumni/Development Information Systems

    Boyle County native Lori began working at Centre in 1997. She helped transition Centre’s development office to Millennium software in 1999, and she has attended classes to implement the new software. Alumni contact Lori to change their addresses and to obtain alumni lists.

    Alumni Affairs

      Megan Haake Milby ’03
    Director of Alumni Affairs

    Megan, a native of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, graduated from Centre in 2003 with a B.A. in Anthropology. In 2007, she joined Centre's staff as the assistant director of alumni affairs and in 2009 was promoted to director of alumni affairs.
    Prior to her return to Centre, Megan worked as the marketing coordinator for a commercial real estate firm in the Greater Cincinnati area.  Megan enjoys being involved in the Centre Community and serves as the advisory board chairman for the Epsilon Eta chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta.  Megan and her husband, Kevin, currently reside in Danville, Kentucky.

    Colleen Courtwright
    Associate Director of Alumni Affairs

    Colleen, originally from Louisville, Kentucky, graduated from Transylvania University in 2006 with a B.A. in Business Administration/Marketing and Studio Art. For the past four years Colleen has published a small quarterly professional magazine, and has done additional graphic design work on the side. Colleen enjoys photography, painting, and making stained glass in her free time. Colleen also enjoys running and playing golf with her husband.

    Parent Programming

      Mona Gordon Wyatt
    Associate Director of Development for Donor Relations & Parent Program

    Since joining Centre’s staff in 1979, Mona Wyatt has served as director of special events, director of alumni, and assistant to the president. A journalism graduate from the University of Kentucky, Wyatt serves as a resource to parents. She plans Family Weekend and commencement, organizes the annual Centre Associates dinner, and edits the CentreInsider and the Parents Newsletter. Mona has two sons.
