Reunion Giving. Reunions are a special time for alumni to return to campus to reconnect with friends and faculty members. During reunion years, alumni have an opportunity to join with classmates and their alma mater to help provide a first-class education for talented students. To mark these special anniversaries, alumni can endow scholarships or other named opportunities in honor of their classes.
Class Reunion Funds: Leaving a Legacy
Class reunions at Centre are celebrated in 5-year intervals, beginning with the 5th reunion. In honor of these special milestones, class members have the opportunity to make gifts to the College for a particular project or scholarship named for the class. You will begin to receive letters from your class gift chair asking you to consider supporting your class fund approximately sixteen months prior to your reunion (July prior to your reunion the following year). Once you contribute to your class fund, you will not receive additional requests for that specific purpose. Your total class gift will be presented as an oversized check to President Roush at the Alumni Recognition Ceremony on the Saturday morning of Homecoming.
What Your Gift Supports
Gifts of all sizes are greatly appreciated and much needed. Working together as a class will allow you and your gift to make a greater impact on the lives of our current students. Specific opportunities are available to each class, based on giving level. Class funds not reaching the $25,000 threshold will aid our current students through an annual scholarship.
